Tracee Wilkins, an investigative reporter with the News4 I-Team in Washington, D.C., has received numerous accolades for her work including an Edward R. Murrow Award, multiple Emmy and AP awards, and was named the 2022 Journalist of the Year by the Washington Association of Black Journalists.
Since joining NBC4 in 2003, Wilkins has covered Presidential Inaugurations and moderated gubernatorial and U.S. Senate debates. She is News4’s founding Prince George’s County Bureau chief, and her reporting has been featured on MSNBC, Discovery ID, and TV One.
Wilkins is an active member of the Federal City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, the National Association of Black Journalists, and Investigative Reporters and Editors. A native of Beltsville, Maryland, Wilkins graduated from High Point High School and Frostburg State University. She and her husband live in Washington, D.C., with their two children.
